11.14.2007:  The Faulkner conference was unbelievable. Met so many contacts and amazing writers. Slept on high thread count sheets and dined on sinful food and wine. Highly recommend the Monteleone to anyone who can afford it (thank you, Faulkner Society).

8.30.2007: Judge Janette Turner Hospital has announced  my novel-in-progress the winner of the Faulkner Society's 2007 Novel-in-Progress Award!

4.30.2007:  Chuck Wachtel, writing teacher extraordinaire,  has scrawled his reckless signature across the title page of my novel-in-progress, fulfilling the requirements for my MFA from NYU.
