2.09.2008: The ink is dry: I just signed an agency agreement with Kathleen Anderson of Anderson Literary Management!
12.10.2007: Since the conference, I’ve received two offers of representation (read about my fortuitous quandary on my blog).
11.14.2007: The Faulkner conference was unbelievable. I met so many contacts and amazing writers. Also I slept on high thread count sheets and dined on sinful food and wine. I highly recommend the Monteleone to anyone who can afford it (thank you, Faulkner Society - read more about the conference on my blog). Here, clockwise starting top left, are pictures of me at the awards ceremony with K. Wilson and P. Neofotis (winner, novella); on the roof with E. L. Plum (winner, poetry); at the awards ceremony with E. Staat; and with my husband at Café du Monde. Tragically not pictured: J. Hatley; J. T. Hospital.
8.30.2007: Judge Janette Turner Hospital has announced my novel-in-progress the winner of the Faulkner Society's 2007 Evans Harrington Grant!
4.30.2007: Chuck Wachtel, writing teacher extraordinaire, has scrawled his reckless signature across the title page of my novel-in-progress, fulfilling the requirements for my MFA from NYU.
